2. Description of Service

Indie Hunt is a platform for showcasing game jam games. Users can submit their games, browse games submitted by others, upvote games they enjoy, and leave comments.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must not share your account credentials with others
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service

4. User Content

When you submit a game or content to Indie Hunt:

• You must own or have the rights to the content you submit
• You grant Indie Hunt a non-exclusive license to display your content on the platform
• You retain ownership of your original content
• You must not submit content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• You must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive

5. Game Submissions

• You may submit one game per month
• Games cannot be edited after publication
• Games must be your own original work
• Game links must be functional and lead to playable content
• We reserve the right to remove games that violate these terms

6. Voting and Fair Play

• Each user may cast one vote per game
• Vote manipulation (bot voting, fake accounts, vote trading) is prohibited
• We reserve the right to remove votes and accounts engaged in manipulation
• Monthly voting periods reset at the end of each calendar month

7. Monthly Prizes

• Prizes are awarded at our discretion to the top-voted game each month
• We reserve the right to withhold prizes if vote manipulation is detected
• Prize details and eligibility may change without notice
• Winners may be required to verify their identity before receiving prizes

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Submit spam, malware, or malicious content
• Attempt to manipulate votes or game rankings
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent rules
• Scrape or collect user data without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indie Hunt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
